Thendo Nelwamondo

Mr. Nelwamondo is a managing director and a professional registered geological scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat) with over 15 years’ experience in geological practice. Mr. Nelwamondo holds a degree in Bachelor of Earth Science in Mining and Environmental Geology from university of Venda and a postgraduate diploma (GDE) in Mining Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand.

Thendo have a critical understanding of mineral exploration, mineral resource and reserve estimation, geostatistical grade estimation, block modelling and QA/QC for various commodities (Coal, Chrome, Iron ore, Manganese, Diamond, Titanium, Copper, Lead, Gold and Platinum group minerals.

Thendo gained experience in the operational mines, exploration projects and consulting environment. He conducted technical visits/investigations to the projects in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa. Thendo compiled number of mineral resource reports in accordance with the requirements of the various regulatory requirements or codes (SAMREC, JORC and NI43-101). Mr. Nelwamondo have acted as Competent Person (CP) or Qualified Person (QP) on numerous projects. He is proficient in the use of data mine, Vulcan, Surpac, Geoslib, ArcView GIS and MS Office Suite.

Mr. Thendo Nelwamondo is an active member of the Geostatistical Association of Southern Africa (GASA), Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA) and a registered Professional Natural Scientist (SACNASP).
